Dropped in for some classic fish & chips and wow – what a feast! The large portion is absolutely huge (seriously, come hungry). Fresh fish, light and crispy batter, and golden tasty chips. It’s exactly the kind of place you go when you just want proper, no-nonsense comfort food that instantly hits the spot. Quick, friendly service, good vibes, and great value. If you’re in Liverpool and craving fish & chips – this is the place. I’ll definitely be back! And honestly? I’m surprised at the low rating and comments saying it’s “too greasy” 🤣 I mean… it’s FISH & CHIPS!

Called in with friends after a night out in September 2025, first time visitor. Place was cosy and clean, with friendly staff behind the counter. Menu was straightforward and well-priced for Liverpool city-centre. I opted for the standard fish and chips, and both the quality of the food and the portion size were really good – the fish in particular was delicious. Would recommend and I would definitely visit again.

It is the first time I have lunch at this restaurant. Located in the middle of famous Bold Street, you can come from Liverpool Central Station without any difficulty. We ordered fried fish and clips, fish bites, onion rings and pale ale. The fried fish batter is thin and crispy. The fish is fresh and soft. The food portion is quite large at a very reasonable price. You will feel very full after finishing the large fish and clips. At the same time, the taste of pale ale is very refreshing too. Together with the nice service and friendly dining environment, I highly recommend this restaurant to all fish and clips lovers

I came here September 2019. This is located halfway up Bold Street in the middle of a busy food area. I ordered the salt and pepper chips and I have to say its the best I have had. the service is pretty good too.
